A cynical and jaded Ottawa Press corps laughed in Paul Martin's face yesterday when the Prime Minister claimed Stronach's defection had nothing to do with the upcoming confidence vote. They interrupted him twice! Meanwhile the opposition conservatives report the Liberals have attempted to bribe at least one other Conservative MP with yet another Cabinet post, if he/she would change sides.
