Gregory Alston might be the stupidest car thief in the world. Tuesday he telephoned Police in Baltimore to report the car he jacked last week had been stolen from in front of his apartment. The officer assigned to the case asked him to come in and file a report; which he did.
Turns out the Nissan Maxima's real owner had spotted the car on the street, and police had towed it in. Alston has been charged with car theft and a handgun felony.
